Voting Abroad

It is recalled that voting abroad is a right protected by the Italian Constitution and that, pursuant to Law No. 459 of 2001, Italian citizens of legal age residing or temporarily staying abroad, registered with AIRE, may vote by mail, receiving their electoral envelope at their residence address. For voting procedures on the occasion of political elections, abrogative and constitutional referendums, as well as COMITES elections, please refer to the MAECI web page pagina Voto all’estero.

Current elections and referendums notices will be posted on the Newsroom section and on the homepage.
