We are pleased to inform that starting from 15th of April 2023 it will be possible to request at the Consulate the issuance of the Electronic Identity Card (CIE).
Similarly to what is planned on the national territory, Italian citizens living in the Cape Provinces will be able to record their biometrics and apply for the issuance of their Electronic Identity Card. The card will be issued and delivered by the Italian Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato.
The first appointments will be made available on the Prenot@mi ortal starting next week.
