On 10 June 2019, the web portal “Italiani all’Estero: i Diari raccontano”, realized by the Fondazione Archivio Diaristico di Piave Santo Stefano (AR) and the Directorate General for Italian Citizens Abroad and Migration Policies of Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, was presented. The platform aims to narrate the common stories of the Italians who migranted abroad through testimonies collected by the foundation.
The initiative, moreover, includes the possibility to enrich the archive with new stories from compatriots living abroad or relatives of compatriots emigrated in the past, which can be presented on the portal as well.
