EXTENSION OF THE NATIONAL VACCINATION PLAN TO THE ITALIAN CITIZENS RESIDING ABROAD

In light of the Ordinance n.7 / 2021 of the Extraordinary Commissioner for the Covid-19 emergency, Italian citizens registered within the AIRE and temporarily present in Italy are now eligible to get the anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. Starting from the next few days, the regional health systems will update their digital platforms to allow the inclusion of citizens enrolled in AIRE among the beneficiaries of the National Vaccination Plan. Interested citizens may therefore consult their respective regional websites used for booking vaccination, checking whether they fall within the priority and expected risk criteria. In order to book the vaccination, it will not be necessary to be in possession of the Health Card (Tessera Sanitaria) or the Tax Code (Codice Fiscale).
