Following the entry into force of the Law 06/23/2014 n. 89, starting from 07/07/2014 applications for citizenship by descent are subject to a consular fee of € 300. For the equivalent Rand amount please see the Consular Fees.
Included in this category are applications to register the birth of a person older than 18, as well as applications submitted by spouses married to an Italian citizen before 27.04.1983.
