Mailing deadline: <strong>14 February<\/strong>.<br \/>If you haven&#8217;t received your voting papers by <strong>18 February<\/strong> you may apply for a duplicate to be sent or collected at the Consulate.<br \/>The voted papers need to be returned to the Consulate by post or by hand by\u00a0<strong>1 March 2018<\/strong> so that they can be sent to Italy.<br \/>Please be aware that voting is secret, you may not let anyone vote in your place. Please make sure you keep your voting papers safe and private before returning them to the Consulate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Voters with a different temporary residence at the time of the General Election<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a. Voters who reside in Italy but for specific reasons will be away from\u00a0Italy\u00a0during the\u00a0General Election\u00a0may send a request <strong>by 31 January 2018<\/strong>\u00a0to their Municipality of residence requesting to vote by mail in a different country <strong>&#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conscapetown.esteri.it\/consolato_capetown\/en\/la_comunicazione\/dal-consolato\/2018\/01\/elettori-temporaneamente-all-estero.html\">more information<\/a><\/strong><br \/>b.
