The consular fees vary every three months. From April to June 2026 the costs are the following:
- short-term visa: EUR 90,00 – RAND 1.716,00
- long-term visa: EUR 116,00 – RAND 2.211,00
- short-term visa (6-12 y.o): EUR 45,00 – RAND 858,00
- study national visa (D): EUR 50,00 – RAND 953,00

All bank charges related to the transfer shall be paid by the applicant; the Consulate bank account should reflect the full amount due. If the amount received by the Consulate is lower than the amount due by the applicant, the requested documents will not be processed, and an additional payment has to be done. You are kindly advised to double check with your Bank that all charges are paid by the payer.
In order to avoid the cash deposit bank fees, you are kindly requested to use the EFT payment only.
The payment reference has to be the surname of the person requesting the Consular Service, and not the one of the people making the payment, should they be different people.
